Corralejo is the largest holiday resort In Fuerteventura. The resort, originally a quiet fishing village, has over the years transformed into a lively Fuerteventura holiday resort. Ferry To Lanzarote From Corralejo, Lanzarote is just a quick ferry trip away and ideal for a day out. Two main ferries travel between Corralejo and Playa Blanca in Lanzarote: The Fred Olsen Express ferry, named the ‘Bocayna Express’, or “The Cat” takes only 12 minutes to get to Lanzarote and takes foot passengers as well as cars.
The other ferry is the Naviera Armas, called the ‘Volcan de Tindaya’, which takes about 25 minutes or so to make the trip, and costs a little bit less than the Fred Olsen. You can travel on foot or by car on this boat too.
Once in Lanzarote there are many many different sites to see and things to do. You can just relax in Playa Blanca, go shopping in Puerto Del Carmen or visit places such as Timanfaya National park – where volcanic activity is still happening under the surface (temperatures can be as high as 600 °C!!!!) and this is demonstrated by pouring water into the ground which makes a giant geyser of steam shoot into the air.
